thin-banner-1200x300As an adult, you likely have been exposed to a number of people who you consider to be great leaders. When we think of our own personal goals, there are very few people who do not strive to be someone that others can look up to, especially in a professional capacity. However, how did these great leaders that you know end up being an inspiration for others? Were they simply born with it, or did they happen to have some knowledge that you, yourself have not been exposed to?dreamstime_xxl_15640575

The answer is: perhaps a bit of both. While it does take a certain personality and personal ambition to lead people into positions that truly have the power to make change, it also does require internalizing a good amount of knowledge that concerns leadership in general. That’s where the Professional Development Center of Glendale Community College comes in.

We offer a 15 week course entirely focused on leadership skills. This class is specifically designed for those who are interested in learning more about how to motivate employees, develop the skills of those on their teams, and promote a continuous improvement culture in both their department and their company as a whole.

You will begin your course by learning about the different work styles people have and how these work styles contribute to how people become motivated. Throughout the course you will cover topics like how to communicate effectively, manage conflict, use your time to your advantage, promote change and more.

If you are interested in becoming a better leader and improving your own skills as a mentor and coworker, we suggest you sign up for our Leadership Skills course today! We cannot wait to help you become the best leader possible.
