APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional

APICS courses

Course Description

The APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) extends the view of the supply chain beyond internal operations to encompass all the steps throughout the supply chain, from the supplier, through the company, to the end consumer. It provides the knowledge to effectively manage the integration of these activities to maximize a company’s value chain.

Earning the APICS CSCP demonstrates mastery and an in-depth understanding of the issues affecting suppliers, operations, and customers across the extended supply chain.

In addition to the guidance provided in the classroom, participants will also receive the APICS CSCP Learning System. The Learning System provides access to both printed and digital materials. The online platform also includes learning activities, personalized study experience, microlearning, and convenient access to reading materials. The Certification Exam is not included in the class fees for this course but may be purchased separately when candidates are ready to take the certification exam.

Audience

This course would be of interest to Supply Chain professionals wanting to enhance career opportunities up to management level and beyond by increasing their knowledge of company’s extended supply chain.

Professional development is highly valued by employers. Employees who hold certifications or credentials typically earn more than those who do not. APICS certification is especially sought after; individuals with at least one APICS credential earn, on average, 25% more than their non-certified peers. Additionally, a supply chain degree alone is often not enough to maximize professional value in the field. Earning an APICS certification can significantly enhance career prospects, with certified
professionals reporting a 20% median salary increase, demonstrating the clear value of
these industry-recognized credentials.
